This tablet has a relatively small screen size (7 inches), a relatively slow processor and limited RAM (1 gb). However, as a result, the battery life is superb: I easily get 12 hours of actual use -- Web surfing, e-reading, music and video playing -- out of a charge. This is an excellent armchair tablet -- something to keep by your side while you watch TV that lets you look up things you're curious about. The included TV remote app adds to its convenience. The double tap to wake feature is incredibly handy, and the tablet is very efficient when asleep. The slow processor speed means that the Google Play store will not show apps that it thinks are too demanding for the tablet. So, for example, XCOM and Knights of the Old Republic are nowhere to be seen. If you want to play games on this, look to ones with 2D graphics or relatively undemanding 3D graphics like Chaos Rings. The screen has excellent color and brightness; it looks perfectly fine at 55%. There is a small bit of backlight bleeding on the upper left corner, but it's only visible in dim light.Regarding sound, be aware that although there are two speaker holes in the back, this tablet outputs mono sound, which was rather sleazy of LG. However, it produces good stereo sound if you use headphones. This version will attempt to make a cellular connection even if you don't put in a SIM card, so to avoid wasting battery life when near Wifi, be sure to put the tablet in airplane mode and then turn Wifi back on. Unfortunately, the tablet will remind you every time you turn it on that it's in airplane mode, but that's a minor annoyance. All in all, a good purchase. Read Less

I purchased 2 of the V410 one for me and another for a friend (I already had the G Pad v700) .First, these are great little inexpensive tablets and have the same processor and memoy as the LGG Pad V700 with added benefitof having a wireless GSM network reciever/transmitter and can fit in your large pockets and you can read it without glasses. Some things not widely covered by other reviews and Q/A:This can be used as a phone, via AT&T network (and I think any other GSM network - like T Mobile) by downloading and subscribing to Google Hangouts and then downloading the Google Hangouts dialer, in which you get free call in the US and Canada and Voice mail and VM transcription. As someone else mentioned, do not upgrade to the Lollipop 5.0.2 OS, unless you have an app that you cannot live without, as it has a memory leak ( in the display memory -data management issue in active memory sucking up a lot of power): There is an app that claimed to fix it called 'Fix Lollipop Memeory Leak ' that does seem to fix it and it is available on google play. As of this writing, I have been unable to download Lollipop 5.1 for the V410 which LG claims is supported by AT&T. Read Less
